Ordered the Masuman curry. It was just ok. Extremely oily. I had never had oily curry before. The beef was flavorful and tender. I'd be willing to give this place one more try and order something different. However it was a Friday night when I went and quite empty so that should've told me a lot.

Stopped in for lunch around Noon on a Saturday. Place was empty so I was a little skeptical. My Shrimp pad Thai was maybe a touch greasy but still very enjoyable and came out very fast (I guess that's the benefit of an empty restaurant.) I would come back again. I give it 3.5 stars for the food and the value.

We arrived as tourists looking for any place to eat and we have found a great place, very cheap and all the excellent dishes. Authentic Thai with a very attentive and friendly owner. Highly recommended!

They are closing in a month so go while you can.

Try the sauteed garlic pork, also chef's seafood specials are pretty good.

Bangkok 900 is one of the best Thai restaurant in San Francisco. The sever is really helpful. I always come here for Larb Gai.

Popped in to a mostly-empty dining room for a late lunch, got the param pak. It arrived hot but extremely greasy, and the spinach was so stringy I couldn't actually chew the stem or even bite it off... just about choked on the first bite, as I was expecting a nice tender veggie. About halfway through eating, I realized I didn't have any cash and they required a $15 credit card minimum. Upon learning of the quandary, the waiter totally started hustling me to order more so I'd meet the minimum...?! He eventually let it drop and I charged only my lunch on plastic, but the wringer he subjected me to was pretty agro and definitely left me soured further on my experience. The hustle, the stringy veggies and the pool of oil at the end of my meal leaves me wondering how this place gets reviews about how it's such superior thai food. There are at least 3 other thai spots nearby, and I would elect to go to any one of those *before* electing to return to Bangkok 900.

Taste just like how San Diego authentic would taste like! I recommend the kraw pow chicken

The best thai food in the SF area so far.

Ordered from them for lunch and got a combination plate that came with Goong Mum Mu (deep fried shrimp in egg roll skin) and Gai Karprow (spicy ground chicken and fresh basil). The shrimp was okay and what made it interesting was the egg roll skin that it was covered in. The Gai Karprow was excellent! I loved the overall taste of it and the extra spiciness came from a few chopped jalapenos that were added to the portion. I would give this place 3.5 stars.

This place is a gem ! I have been coming here at least twice a week for over a year now and the food never disappoints. The owner is very sweet. This is the best Thai food I have had in my life. The satay beef appetizer is to die for. Amazing, flavorful dishes for cheap.

Solid neighborhood Thai that can save the day when cooking simply cannot be faced. Friendly service too.

I absolutely love this place. I live in Cole Valley and order takeout from here whenever I’m planning an evening at home and feeling too lazy to cook. The duck/pumpkin curry with brown rice and mango sticky rice desert is my go-to. Food is delicious and great price. The guy who runs the place keeps things moving along nicely. He’s not into small talk, but he’s really sweet and recognizes regulars. I appreciate that! Nothing but good to say about this neighborhood staple!

This place is always a great value, but sometimes the food is just so-so. I get their pad thai on the way home from work since it's convenient, but when I get their lunch specials they are pretty greasy.

Chicken green curry is out of this world.

The owner here is so genuine and nice. Eating here feels so comfy. Its quiet and really allows you to relax, wind down, forget about the stress of the day. Love this place.

Both the Salmon curry and the duck curry were good. I would definitely order take out or go here again!

I grab lunch here a couple times a week and it's always above par. Cash only so plan ahead.
